It's Easy to Measure for Your EasyShade

Solar-Powered EasyShades

Step 1 — Measure for the width of your EasyShade^®
EasyShades come in widths from 3 to 12 ft., in 6 in. increments.
Note: The actual fabric width is 3 in. less than the total housing width.
Step 2 — Make sure you have at least 3-1/4 in. of clear, unobstructed space horizontally along your wall where you can install the brackets that hold the EasyShade housing. The mounting brackets are universal and can be mounted on a wall or hung from a soffit or ceiling.
Step 3 — Make sure you have space down the sides of your installation area where you can attach the small brackets that hold the Solar-Powered EasyShade's stainless steel guiding cables. These brackets can be installed down a maximum of 7 ft., which is the maximum distance the shade will unroll.

Step 4 — Decide which end of your Motorized EasyShade you would like your power cord (the left or right end, as you face the house). You will need to make this selection when you order. Your electrical outlet should be an approved ground fault interrupter outlet designed for outdoor use.
